Who you’ll see
Dr. Ben Shatil is an aesthetic practitioner and educator whose lip filler technique has become internationally recognized. Through his training courses, he teaches other practitioners his approach to lip enhancement, bringing that same attention to technique and detail to his patients at YS Aesthetics.
Dr. Shirel Toren, DNP, FNP-BC, began her aesthetics career under Ben’s direct mentorship and has trained alongside him for the past six years. Her experience is rooted in the techniques and aesthetic approach he teaches. Together, they offer patients a closely aligned team with a shared commitment to thoughtful, personalized results.
Our team also trains practitioners for Galderma (Restylane), Merz and laser and device companies, and has developed its own skincare line.

Lip filler questions
Is lip filler right for me?
Many people choose lip filler for a fuller lip profile. Filler can also help balance the upper and lower lip, define the lip line or shape the cupid’s bow, the curve just beneath the nose.
Lip filler is for adults, and the lip fillers YS uses are FDA-approved for adults only. It may not be right for you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a bleeding disorder, have a cold sore, rash or infection around your mouth, or have severe allergies, including to lidocaine. Your provider reviews your health history first and will tell you if another option suits you better.
Will my lips look natural?
Most patients want lips that look natural. Your provider plans the amount and placement around your features and the look you want, and tells you what is realistic for you. Results are not guaranteed.
No two smiles are alike, so results differ from person to person. They depend on the natural shape of your lips and the type and amount of filler used. For lip filler, YS offers Teoxane RHA® and Restylane®.
Lip filler is temporary, because your body gradually absorbs it. Your provider can explain what to expect based on the product and amount they recommend.
What happens at the appointment?
A visit starts with a conversation about what you hope to achieve. Let the practitioner know about any medication or supplements you take. They examine your features and plan where to place the filler, and a topical numbing cream is used to keep you comfortable. You may have mild swelling, tenderness or bruising for a few days afterwards.
Most people go back to normal activities the same day. For the first 24 to 48 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and pressing or massaging your lips unless your provider tells you to. Serious problems are rare. Call the office right away, or get emergency care, if you notice severe or worsening pain, skin that turns white, grey or blue, or any change in your vision.
How long does lip filler last?
How long results last depends on the filler selected and your individual response. At your consultation, your provider will explain the expected duration for your treatment and when a follow-up may be appropriate.
When should I book before an event?
Plan at least two weeks before an event. Your provider can advise on timing and recovery.
What does lip filler cost?
Lip filler at YS is $900 before discounts or promotions. Consultations are free. A $100 deposit is applied toward your treatment and is refundable or transferable to a future appointment, except for a no-show without calling.
Affirm, Cherry, PatientFi and CareCredit payment plans are available, subject to approval.
